How the den works
The Outdoor Unit
The Den heat pump is designed to be installed and run incredibly efficiently. Unlike many heat pumps, it uses the new natural refrigerant R290, this is much more eco friendly and reaches higher temperatures .
Den Hot Water Cylinder
Sized to suit your home, our hot water cylinders are highly insulated to keep heat loss to a minimum whilst storing your hot water. Made from durable duplex stainless steel.
Buffer Tank
an insulated vessel that adds additional volume of hot water to your heating system, i.e. the water that goes around the radiators and is treated with chemicals to stop rust. It acts a little like a battery for the heating system, allowing it to store more of the energy from the heat pump.
